Here I was in the midst of losing the most important thing to me, and somehow found myself lost in thought. How could I be so preoccupied with something so trivial when in the balance my world as I know it could come crashing down?
I couldn’t help myself though to think back, and remember in that brief encounter my life would never be the same again. Everything about that day is still a vivid picture in my memory, the weather, the smells, and how I felt. That day will be one that I will treasure for the rest of my life.
